These are just some various notes from installing WFW 3.11 on a Dell 466/M. The basics of this machine are as follows:

  * 66MHz 466DX2
  * 16MB RAM
  * S3 86C805 onboard

The S3 apparently only supports up to 256 color 800x600@60Hz. Drivers for it can be found in [[https://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?t=28133|this Vogons thread]] but in case the links die I have archived them [[TBD|here]]. Install them through Windows Setup as normal, I am not sure of the difference between SF and LF but LF seems to work fine for me.
